É sem dúvida uma saudação muito útil para os tolkiendili.

Here the Merin Sentence is mentioned, to all appearances written by JRRT himself: Merin sa haryalye alasse nó vanyalye Ambarello (I hope that thou hast happiness before thou passest from the world) The ending nó vanyalye Ambarello - before thou passest from the world - is used only when greeting mortals. This is certainly a very useful greeting for tolkiendili.
