SAUDAÇÃO DE PÁSCOA / EASTER GREETING
Como de costume nesta época do ano, três celebrações ocorrem com poucos dias de diferença - a Páscoa cristã, a Páscoa judaica (ou Pessach) e o Equinócio (que no Hemisfério Norte é de primavera e aqui de outono). Seja como for, qualquer que seja a sua crença ou prática, é sempre um tempo que faz pensar em liberação, seja da morte, seja da escravidão, seja das trevas ou dos calores da estação... Em tal época, ao menos simbolicamente, nos soltamos de amarras - e as espirituais são as piores - para tentarmos iniciar algo de novo. Por isso, aí vão os meus votos de boa liberação, no melhor Quenya e Sindarin que consegui compor: Etelehtie mára! Leithian maer!

As is usual at this time of the year, three celebrations occur at a few days' distance - Christian Easter, Jewish Passover (or Pesach) and the Equinox (which is Spring in the Northern Hemisphere and Autumn hereabouts). Be that as it may, whatever your belief or practice, it is always a time to have us thinking of release, be it from death, from slavery or from the darkness or heat of the season... At such a time, at least symbolically, we free ourselves from bonds - and the spiritual ones are the worst - to try to begin something new. So here go my wishes of a good release, in the best Quenya and Sindarin I have managed to compose: Etelehtie mára! Leithian maer!
