I have included in my site a message to answer the frequent inquiries about "How does my name look in Elvish?". The page [in Portuguese] explains that the question is not easy to understand - there are at least three different interpretations - and that the answer may be very complex as well. The page containing recommendations on tengwar fonts now brings a table showing the standard keyboard mapping in a logical arrangement.

The author of the first and most acclaimed biography of JRRT, and of an important account of the Inklings, died at 58 on 2005-01-04. This is especially sad news for me, as I started my "editorial" involvement with books by and about Tolkien by translating into Portuguese J. R. R.
